We hired Melanie for our Engagement and Wedding Photos for our wedding on June 1st 2024 in Madison. During all of our times with her Melanie provided such a welcoming, inclusive and positive space for us to feel comfortable opening up to the camera. She was perfect for getting our dog involved in our engagement shoot, and come day of, we never had to worry if a moment was going to be captured, she was on top of it all! She was mindful of timelines, she let us enjoy our big day without pulling us away from the action except when necessary, and our guests all commented on how amazing she was prompting poses and how great of a presence she was. Cannot speak highly enough about our time with Melanie, and we know we have found our go-to photographer for any event we may have in the future!

Melanie is an incredible photographer and human! She photographed our engagement and wedding photos, and she did a stunning job. We were sad to not be able to include our dog in our wedding (venue restrictions), and Melanie knew how much that meant to us and went above and beyond capturing our fur-child in our engagement photos. She was also incredibly flexible and willingly drove to the Chicago suburbs to shoot our wedding. We had a blast and felt at ease with her directions, and she captured all of our joy! We will cherish these photos forever, and we're very grateful for Melanie - cannot recommend her enough!

Melanie is so so great to work with! She makes each shoot a fun and relaxed atmosphere, even when we had some rainy weather! She was great with our non/traditional style shoot and our 6 year old who kept supplying her own photo ideas. I can’t wait for our photos to come back! We’ve used her Dulcy Dog Photography services before for pet photos which have always been excellent!
